WarHorse Gaming is a gaming and entertainment division of Ho-Chunk, Inc., developed in partnership with the Nebraska Horsemen’s Benevolent and Protective Association (HBPA). The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of facility maintenance within a high-volume resort casino environment. This role leads maintenance activities across multiple disciplines—including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general repairs—ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with operational and guest service standards.
This position provides leadership during assigned shifts, supports team development, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and company procedures.
Oversee daily facility operations, including maintenance, repair, remodeling, and renovation activities
Ensure timely completion of work orders across mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and painting functions
Promote and enforce safety practices, policies, and procedures within the department
Respond to facility emergencies, directing team members and coordinating resources as needed
Maintain compliance with applicable regulations, including the National Electric Code
Supervise, train, and support team members to ensure performance standards and job requirements are met
Monitor quality and consistency of maintenance services to support overall guest satisfaction
Maintain accountability for key control, including issuance, tracking, and inventory management
Prepare reports on departmental performance and operational progress as required
Develop and implement improved processes, procedures, and best practices
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of facility systems and infrastructure across the property
Coordinate team schedules and enforce attendance policies
Ensure all work is performed carefully to prevent damage to property or equipment
Perform additional duties as assigned
Required:
Must be 19 years of age or older
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
Minimum three (3) years of facilities experience in a high-volume, complex resort or casino environment
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Working knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and general maintenance
Working knowledge of electrical systems up to 480 volts
Preferred:
Journeyman certification in a related trade or equivalent experience
Work is performed in a resort and casino environment with exposure to operational and maintenance settings
Requires mobility throughout the property, including mechanical rooms and guest areas
May involve responding to emergencies and working in high-pressure situations
Frequent standing, walking, and coordination of maintenance activities
Use of tools, equipment, and standard office systems
Schedule varies based on business needs
Must be available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts
