SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

The Information Technology Supervisor is responsible for leading and supervising the IT support team at WarHorse Casino Omaha. This role oversees property-level technology operations, including hardware, software, and network systems, ensuring reliable and efficient support for all end users.

The IT Supervisor serves as a key liaison between property operations, vendors, and WarHorse Gaming, LLC IT leadership. This position provides technical expertise, operational oversight, and strategic support to ensure all systems meet business needs in a fast-paced, 24/7 casino environment.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Demonstrate and uphold the Mission, Vision, and Values of WarHorse Gaming, LLC.

  • Lead, manage, and supervise daily activities of IT support staff at the Omaha property.

  • Oversee day-to-day IT operations, including task delegation, troubleshooting escalations, and team guidance.

  • Provide hands-on technical support for all casino systems, applications, and infrastructure.

  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues; escalate complex issues to senior IT leadership as needed.

  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with IT vendors and service providers.

  • Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures for system installations, upgrades, and configurations.

  • Ensure compliance with all internal controls, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Prepare reports, updates, and documentation for WarHorse Gaming, LLC IT leadership.

  • Respond to after-hours and emergency calls to support critical business operations.

  • Collaborate with property leadership to align IT services with operational needs.

  • Perform supervisory responsibilities including hiring input, training, scheduling, coaching, performance management, and disciplinary actions.

  • Maintain current knowledge of all systems and technologies utilized within the casino environment.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS / JOB SPECIFICATIONS

  • Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum of two (2) years of casino IT operations experience required.

  • Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory or leadership experience required.

  • Strong experience with:

    • Server technologies and implementations

    • Networking (LAN/WAN), DNS, DHCP

    • Microsoft Office 365 and Active Directory

    • Low voltage systems and IP phone systems

    • Point of Sale (POS) systems

    • Hotel Property Management Systems (PMS)

    • Casino Management and Player Tracking Systems (slots and table games)

    • System integrations across multiple platforms

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and team development abilities.

  • Ability to remain composed and effective under pressure.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • Primarily local travel within the Omaha area.

  • Occasional travel to other WarHorse Gaming properties required.

  • Limited overnight travel may be necessary.


WORK ENVIRONMENT / SCHEDULE

This is a full-time position supporting a 24/7/365 operation. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; however, evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call availability are required based on business needs.


CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSING

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Nebraska Gaming License.

  • Valid driver’s license required.

  • This position does not involve alcohol service or comp authority.
