SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

The Slot Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service while ensuring the smooth operation of slot machines throughout the casino floor. This position assists guests with machine play, jackpot payouts, player card services, minor machine maintenance, and other guest service needs. The ideal candidate is guest-focused, detail-oriented, and committed to creating a positive gaming experience.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS & DUTIES

  • Practices, supports, and maintains the Mission, Vision, and Values of WarHorse Gaming Omaha, LLC.
  • Maintains a visible presence on the gaming floor and promptly responds to guest requests and service needs.
  • Provides professional, courteous, and friendly guest service at all times.
  • Assists guests with slot machine operation and explains game rules, payouts, and jackpots.
  • Resolves guest concerns with empathy, professionalism, and a commitment to guest satisfaction.
  • Performs slot machine resets and completes manual jackpot payouts in accordance with company procedures and gaming regulations.
  • Refills ticket printers with voucher paper and performs minor troubleshooting and repairs on slot machines and related equipment.
  • Maintains strict accountability and security of assigned keys, radios, handheld devices, and other company-issued equipment.
  • Serves as a signatory on hand-paid jackpots as required by internal controls and standard operating procedures.
  • Creates player accounts and issues player loyalty cards.
  • Assists guests with beverage requests and coordinates service when needed.
  • Maintains a professional working relationship with guests, team members, and leadership.
  • Participates in required training programs and departmental meetings.
  • Assists in onboarding and training new team members as assigned.
  • Understands and complies with the Company Compulsive and Problem Gambling Plan, including regulations regarding service to minors and intoxicated persons.
  • Adheres to all company, departmental, gaming regulatory, and safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintains flexibility in scheduling to meet business demands.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Nebraska Gaming License.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to use mobile devices, tablets, and touchscreen technology.
  • Commitment to providing outstanding guest service.

Preferred

  • One (1) year of experience in the gaming, casino, hospitality, or entertainment industry.
  • Experience with slot systems and casino operations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience using smartphones and tablet-based applications.

CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSING
