SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
The Food & Beverage Attendant is responsible for creating an exceptional guest experience by taking and delivering food and beverage orders, completing side work, maintaining health and safety standards, and providing outstanding customer service. This position plays a key role in ensuring guests receive prompt, friendly, and efficient service while enjoying their visit at WarHorse Gaming Omaha.
We are seeking team members with open availability for day and swing shifts.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Practices, supports, and maintains the Mission, Vision, and Values of WarHorse Gaming Omaha, LLC.
- Provides prompt, efficient, and friendly service to all guests.
- Takes accurate food and beverage orders and ensures timely delivery.
- Reviews orders with guests to confirm accuracy and satisfaction.
- Maintains current knowledge of all menu items, ingredients, and specials.
- Learns guest preferences and makes recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
- Processes transactions and complies with all cash-handling procedures.
- Maintains clean, organized, and sanitary workstations in accordance with department standards and health regulations.
- Assists with opening, closing, stocking, and other side work duties as assigned.
- Attends departmental meetings and required training sessions.
- Provides exceptional guest and team member service at all times.
- Maintains a professional appearance and adheres to company grooming standards.
- Complies with all company policies, procedures, internal controls, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 19 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Nebraska Gaming License.
- Ability to operate mobile devices and touch-screen technology.
- Demonstrated commitment to guest service excellence and ethical conduct.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous food service, server, or customer service experience preferred.
- Experience working in a fast-paced hospitality environment is a plus.

WORK SCHEDULE
Due to the nature of the hospitality and entertainment industry, team members must be available to work flexible schedules, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and special events as business needs require.
CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSING
- Nebraska Gaming License (or ability to obtain and maintain)
- Food Handler Certification
- ServSafe Certification
- TIPS Alcohol Certification
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires prolonged standing and walking, frequent movement throughout the property, lifting up to 20 pounds, manual dexterity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Team members may be exposed to loud noise levels, secondhand smoke, and varying operational conditions typical of a casino environment.
