Summary


SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
The Executive Host is responsible for developing and coordinating programs to attract and host mid- to high-limit players to ensure guest satisfaction and repeat visits. Knows and ensures adherence to department and company policies, procedures, internal controls, and government regulations.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:  Essential duties and tasks that must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Practices, supports, and maintains the Mission, Vision and Values of WarHorse Gaming Omaha, LLC.
• Maintains relationships and markets our gaming product and amenities to valued guests.
• Greets Casino guests and participates in social events and special promotions.
• Tracks guest’s visits, arranges accommodations, and provides complimentaries according to established guidelines.
• Issues Player’s Club cards and promotes the program and related promotions.
• Increases the growth of gaming revenues through development of a targeted guest base.
• Updates guest history for future visits.
• Ensures the protection of guest’s rewards and credit lines.
• Effectively handles guest complaints and discrepancies in an efficient and courteous manner.
• Provides special services to include food, beverage, transportation, cross-property events, and VIP programs.
• Ensures the highest level of Customer Service is given to guests at all times.
• Sells and promotes property using pertinent and appropriate offers, property amenities, special events and promotions that drive property visits.
• Increases player core revenue by personal networking and telemarketing.
• Regularly reviews activity reports and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and revises objectives and plans in accordance with current conditions.
• Maintains a high profile at VIP events, constant presence to all players at appropriate times.
• May represent the Company, including spokesperson at events or promotions, entertainment and Company sponsored events both on and off property.
• Attends all necessary meeting.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all electronic gaming machines, player tracking systems, promotions, events, entertainment, and general property information.
• Keeps informed of competitive promotions.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:Education, experience, skills required, equipment used.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• High School diploma or equivalent experience; College degree preferred.
• Five (5) years Host experience in a large-scale gaming operation with both Slot and Table games offerings.
• Must have a comprehensive understanding of player tracking systems and complimentary guidelines consistent with normal industry standards.
• Must have an established player following.
• Proficient with Microsoft office Suite or related software.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills are also required.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected


WORK HOURS: Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, Team members must be able to work varying-schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.

 

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Is this position responsible for selling, serving, or distributing alcoholic beverages or do they have comp authority? Yes

Gaming License Required? Ability to secure and maintain NE Gaming License

Other Certifications? Driver’s License
