Information Technology Supervisor

 

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

The Information Technology Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of the Information Technology IT Techs at Warhorse Casino Omaha.  The IT Site Supervisor will manage computer hardware and software at the property level and directly support function to meet end user requirements.  They will establish working relationships for all casino IT vendors and provide reports and updates to Warhorse Gaming, LLC IT management.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:

  • Practices, supports, and maintains the Mission, Vision and Values of WarHorse Gaming, LLC.
  • Leads, manages, plans, and supervises the activities of IT support staff for the Omaha property.
  • Oversee the day-to-day IT operations of Warhorse Casino Omaha to delegate tasks effectively, resolving escalated issues, and providing guidance as a subject matter expert.
  • Provides technical IT support for all casino information system and for vendor management of various casino business systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve problems with malfunctioning system, escalating to Senior IT staff as required.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include but are not limited training team members; scheduling and motivating team members; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining team members; addressing complaints; and resolving problems.
  • Document, file, and maintain master copies of all desktop procedures for application installations, upgrades, and images.
  • Respond to emergency after hours calls to resolve issues and problems as needed.
  • Maintain current knowledge of all aspects of Warhorse Casino IT infrastructure.
  • Ensure full compliance with departmental Internal Controls, policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Assists and receives direction from senior property management to effectively utilize information technology.
  • Prepare reports for Warhorse Gaming, LLC as required.
  • Other duties assigned.

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Associate’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Two (2) years of Casino IT operations experience with two (2) years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Management experience with server technologies and implementations, networking, low voltage, Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IP phone systems, point of sale, Hotel property management solutions, in-room technology, Casino Management and Player Tracking Systems for table games and slots; along with the integrations across these systems is required.
  • The ability to use strong organization skills and attention to detail to accurately handle multiple job duties and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong management and leadership skills.
  • Capable of working under pressure.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Travel is primarily local during the business day, travel to all Warhorse Gaming properties is required and some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.

 

WORK HOURS:

This is a full-time position supporting a 24x7x365 business.  Basic days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Evening, graveyard, weekend, and holiday hours    required, based on business need.

  

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

 Is this position responsible for selling, serving, or distributing alcoholic beverages or do they have comp authority? No

 

Gaming License Required? Ability to secure and maintain NE Gaming License.

 

Other Certifications? Drivers’ License
