SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

The Surveillance Technician is responsible for ensuring the surveillance system, Access/Alarm Systems, and various peripheral Surveillance Department Systems are maintained and are functioning to meet or exceed the Nebraska Racing & Gaming Commission regulations.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:  Essential duties and tasks that must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Practices, supports, and maintains the Mission, Vision and Values of WarHorse Gaming Lincoln, LLC
• Properly maintains, services, and replaces Surveillance equipment and peripheral equipment to ensure adherence to the state regulations and company policies and procedures.
• Adjusts cameras as needed, with regards to angles, lenses, mounts, wiring and housings.
• Ensures all surveillance equipment is working correctly throughout their shift.
• Keeps accurate records and inventory of all associated Surveillance equipment and peripheral equipment.
• Assists in the planning, placement and installation of cameras and support.
• Assists the Surveillance department with daily operational requirements.
• Installs equipment into new or reconfigured casino and/or security areas.
• Ensures that all surveillance equipment located within the surveillance room is working properly.
• Troubleshoots CCTV issues from end device to head-end.
• Cleans and maintains all surveillance equipment as needed.
• Performs repairs and adjustments to all surveillance equipment.
• Installs new surveillance equipment as needed, using conduit, cable, and video equipment; this is done adhering to all state and federal rules, regulations and laws.
• Assists in the ordering and stocking of necessary cleaning supplies and spare parts for existing equipment.
• Responds to emergency service calls.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS: Education, experience, skills required, equipment used.
• High school diploma/ GED or equivalent experience preferred.
• Three (3) years of surveillance system experience in providing maintenance, repair and installation of video monitors, video cameras, pan/tilt motor and gears, system processor and controls, and system peripheral equipment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Knowledge of all table games and slot operations.
• Knowledge of slot machine usage and operation.
• Previous experience with Security System Installations required.
• Possesses and demonstrates understanding of low voltage equipment and low voltage wire/termination of systems regularly used in Security Camera Systems, Access control Systems and Alarm Systems.
• Possesses working knowledge of a computer network including but limited to IP address, Network topography, and Network Security.
• Familiarity with surveillance software and equipment.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.


WORK HOURS: Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, Team members must be able to work varying-schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.

 

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:


Is this position responsible for selling, serving, or distributing alcoholic beverages or do they have comp authority? No

Gaming License Required? Ability to secure and maintain NE Gaming License.
