SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
Purpose and function of job. The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for the overall operations of all F&B departments and outlets, including but not limited to proper staffing and training of front of house staff, collaboration with back of house staff to ensure quality and timeliness of product and ensuring guest satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:

- Practices, supports, and maintains the Mission, Vision and Values of WarHorse Gaming, LLC
- Schedules, directs, supervises, trains, and develops front of house staff of designated restaurant.
- Ensures compliance with all department and company sales, regulations, policies, procedures, internal controls and government rules and regulations.
- Develops and maintains high standards of safety and sanitation.
- Follows a requisition system of restocking of location by managing the inventory and order food and beverages, equipment, and supplies.
- Monitors food preparation, portion sizes, and the overall presentation of food.
- Develops promotions to increase outlet revenue.
- Requires that payment, and/or comp authorization is received upon service of all food and beverage items provided and is responsible for assisting Beverage staff in the proper balancing of the cash register.
- Authorizes comp transactions.
- Inspects supplies, equipment, and work areas.
- Ensures employees comply with health and food safety standards and regulations.
- Serves as a point of contact for guests for employee and restaurant feedback as well as resolving complaints regarding food quality or service.
- Maintains budgets and payroll records and review financial transactions.
- Establishes standards for personnel performance and customer service.
- Optimizes profits by controlling food and labor cost and expense on a daily basis.
- Recommends strategies for increasing outlet revenue.
- Ensures compliance with all department and company rules and regulations, policies, procedures and internal controls and government rules and regulations.
- Attends periodic meetings and training sessions.
- Promotes positive public and employee relations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Education, experience, skills required, equipment used. A satisfactory combination of applicable experience and education may be considered in lieu of experience requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent or GED required.
- Eight (8) years of food and beverage experience, with Five (5) years in a supervisory capacity.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Strong POS operational and programming experience.
- Knowledge of government health, hotel, or food service regulations.
- Proficient in operational financial management accountability and budgeting.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Travel is not required for this position.
WORK HOURS:
Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, Team members must be able to work varying-schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Is this position responsible for selling, serving, or distributing alcoholic beverages or do they have comp authority? Yes
Gaming License Required? Ability to secure and maintain NE Gaming License.
Other Certifications? Food Handler, ServSafe Certification, TIPS Alcohol Certification
