Summary


SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
The Drop & Count Supervisor is responsible for supervising the entire drop and money room operations on shift and verification of loose and bundled money and coin transactions and reconciles count to gaming systems. Pay starts at $20.19/Hr. 

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES: Essential duties and tasks that must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Practices, supports, and maintains the Mission, Vision and Values of WarHorse Gaming Omaha, LLC.
• Maintains protection of extremely large amounts of currency, ensuring prevention of loss by providing extreme care and attention to detail. Adheres to all procedures and controls to protect counted funds.
• Maintains awareness of changes and/or problems that may affect the security of the currency in the Count Room and reports observances to the Drop & Count Manager.
• Counts and reconciles total funds to ensure the integrity of the count.
• Responsible for conducting a mechanically assisted count of the contents of the bill validator boxes.
• Conducts all facets of the count from the opening of the boxes, counting of the drop, verification of documentation and bundling of currency to the final reconciliation of totals, as well as any other related tasks.
• Verifies, monitors and reconciles distribution of bill acceptor cash boxes.
• Ensures count team complies with all department and company policies, procedures, internal controls, and government regulations.
• Ensures compliance with all department and company rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and internal controls including government rules and regulations.
• Safeguards company assets and prepares all necessary paperwork to support and reconcile all money and vouchers collected and counted.
• Maintains the highest level of confidentiality.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

• Must be 21 years or older.
• High school diploma. GED, or relevant experience.
• Three (3) years of cashiering or banking experience, or related experience, with one (1) year in a supervisory capacity.
• Extensive knowledge of state gaming regulations pertaining to casino operations.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Travel is not required for this position.


WORK HOURS: Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, Team members must be able to work varying-schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.

 

GUARANTEED HOURS: If a team member completed tasked work correctly and accurately before the lotted time, they will be paid the time scheduled. If the work exceeds the scheduled hours, the team member will be paid for actual hours worked.

Gaming License Required? Ability to secure and maintain NE Gaming License.
