WarHorse Gaming is a gaming and entertainment division of Ho-Chunk, Inc., developed in partnership with the Nebraska Horsemen’s Benevolent and Protective Association (HBPA). The company is responsible for managing the expansion of casino gaming at Nebraska’s historic horse racing venues, with properties in Lincoln, Omaha, and South Sioux City. The Drop & Count Supervisor is responsible for supervising the entire drop and money room operations during their shift. This includes verifying loose and bundled money and coin transactions and reconciling counts to gaming systems.
Supervise drop and count operations to ensure accuracy, security, and compliance.
Verify and reconcile cash, coin, and voucher totals with gaming system data.
Oversee mechanically assisted counts of bill validator boxes and related documentation.
Maintain protection of large currency amounts through adherence to procedures and internal controls.
Monitor and report any irregularities or security concerns to management.
Verify and reconcile the distribution and retrieval of bill acceptor cash boxes.
Ensure all team members follow company policies, internal controls, and state gaming regulations.
Safeguard company assets and prepare documentation to support and reconcile counted funds.
Maintain confidentiality of all financial and operational information.
Lead, train, and support team members to ensure performance standards are met.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required:
Must be 21 years of age or older
High school diploma, GED, or relevant experience
Three (3) years of cashiering, banking, or related experience, including one (1) year in a supervisory role
Extensive knowledge of state gaming regulations pertaining to casino operations
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
Exposure to loud noise, confined spaces, and secondhand smoke
Frequent lifting and carrying of up to 50 lbs.
Prolonged standing, walking, and repetitive hand and arm movements
Requires dexterity, balance, and coordination for handling currency and equipment
Work involves concentration, attention to detail, and prolonged mental effort
May require flexible scheduling, including weekends, holidays, and extended shifts
Due to the dynamic nature of the gaming and hospitality industry, team members must be able to work varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on property needs.

WORK HOURS: Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, Team members must be able to work varying-schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
GUARANTEED HOURS: If a team member completed tasked work correctly and accurately before the lotted time, they will be paid the time scheduled. If the work exceeds the scheduled hours, the team member will be paid for actual hours worked.
