WarHorse Gaming, LLC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Buyer to join our Finance team. The Buyer plays a key role in sourcing, negotiating, and procuring goods and services that support the operational needs of our growing organization. This position ensures timely delivery of quality products at the best value, maintains positive vendor relationships, and supports compliance with company policies, budgets, and purchasing regulations.
Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and service.
Prepare and issue purchase orders, solicit bids, and negotiate terms and pricing.
Track requisitions, contracts, and purchase orders to ensure timely fulfillment.
Partner with internal departments to forecast supply needs and maintain proper inventory levels.
Resolve vendor issues related to quality, delivery delays, or pricing discrepancies.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers.
Monitor supplier performance and support contract renewals.
Seek cost-saving opportunities through vendor negotiations, bulk purchasing, and alternative products.
Maintain purchasing documentation and supplier records in compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
Prepare and present purchasing activity and cost trend reports as needed.
Communicate effectively with departments regarding order status, changes, and alternatives.
Support WarHorse’s Mission, Vision, and Values in all purchasing activities.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience accepted.
Experience: 0–2 years of purchasing or procurement experience required; hospitality, gaming, or manufacturing experience preferred.

No alcohol service certification required.
Standard office environment with occasional property visits.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Evening, weekend and holiday hours required, based on business need.
TRAVEL
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected. Ability to travel between Lincoln and Omaha for occasional meetings.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree program in finance, business or accounting is required.
Eighteen (18) months of work or educational experience conducting detailed statistical or data analysis required.

Gaming License Required? Ability to secure and maintain NE Gaming License.
