The Senior Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise data platforms that support analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making across WarHorse Gaming. This role ensures scalable architecture, efficient data movement, and high-performance systems that deliver trusted insights to business leaders across operations, marketing, finance, and guest experience.
This position plays a key role in enabling enterprise-wide analytics and driving innovation in a fast-paced, 24/7 gaming and entertainment environment.
Design, implement, and maintain enterprise data warehouse and data lake platforms.
Develop and enforce data architecture, modeling, integration, and governance standards.
Manage ETL/ELT pipelines to ensure data quality, security, scalability, and reliability.
Optimize storage, performance, and cost efficiency across cloud and hybrid environments.
Deliver BI dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics solutions.
Standardize KPIs, metrics, and reporting frameworks across departments.
Partner with business stakeholders to translate data into actionable insights.
Promote adoption of data visualization and analytics tools.
Develop and support AI/ML models, predictive analytics, and automation initiatives.
Collaborate on advanced use cases including segmentation, personalization, forecasting, and fraud detection.
Implement MLOps practices for model deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
Ensure compliance with data governance, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
Partner with IT Security and Compliance to protect sensitive data assets.
Evaluate and recommend data platforms, BI tools, cloud services, and vendors.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 7 years of experience in data engineering, enterprise data warehousing, or analytics platform development.
Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, C#, and ETL/ELT tools.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, including hybrid environments.
Strong knowledge of BI and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
Familiarity with data governance, compliance frameworks, and security protocols.
Exposure to AI/ML frameworks and MLOps practices preferred.

Full-time role supporting a 24x7x365 operation.
Standard schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
Evening, weekend, holiday, and on-call support may be required based on business needs.
Casino environment with exposure to secondhand smoke.
Primarily local travel with required visits to all WarHorse Gaming properties.
Occasional out-of-area and overnight travel may be required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Nebraska Gaming License.
Valid Driver’s License required.
No alcohol service or comp authority associated with this role.
