Pay: Starting at $20.19/hour
Status: Full-Time


SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

The Drop & Count Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all drop and count room operations during assigned shifts. This position ensures the accurate verification, reconciliation, and security of all loose and bundled currency, coin transactions, and gaming-related funds in compliance with internal controls, company policies, and state gaming regulations. The role requires exceptional attention to detail, integrity, and leadership in a highly regulated environment.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS & DUTIES

The following duties are considered essential and must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation:

  • Supports and upholds the Mission, Vision, and Values of WarHorse Gaming Omaha, LLC

  • Supervises all drop and count room operations on assigned shifts

  • Protects and safeguards extremely large amounts of currency through strict adherence to security procedures and internal controls

  • Conducts mechanically assisted counts of bill validator boxes

  • Oversees all phases of the count process, including:

    • Opening drop boxes

    • Counting and verifying currency and coin

    • Reviewing documentation

    • Bundling currency

    • Final reconciliation of totals

  • Reconciles count totals to gaming systems and reports discrepancies

  • Verifies, monitors, and reconciles the distribution of bill acceptor cash boxes

  • Ensures count team compliance with all company policies, internal controls, and government regulations

  • Maintains strict confidentiality at all times

  • Identifies and reports security concerns or operational issues to the Drop & Count Manager

  • Prepares required documentation and audit materials

  • Safeguards all company assets and funds

  • Performs other duties as assigned


JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Education & Experience

  • Must be 21 years of age or older

  • High School Diploma or GED required (relevant experience accepted)

  • Minimum of three (3) years of cashiering, banking, or related experience

  • Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience

  • Extensive knowledge of state gaming regulations related to casino operations

WORK HOURS

Due to the nature of the hospitality and entertainment industry, team members must be able to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts based on business needs.


GUARANTEED HOURS

If assigned tasks are completed accurately and within the scheduled time, team members will be paid for the full scheduled shift. If work exceeds scheduled hours, team members will be paid for actual hours worked.


TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Travel is not required for this position.


CERTIFICATION & LICENSING REQUIREMENTS

  • Not responsible for selling or serving alcoholic beverages

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Nebraska Gaming License


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Work Environment

  • Exposure to darkness, loud noises, and secondhand smoke

  • Occasional exposure to temperature changes and work safety hazards

Physical Effort

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods

  • Frequent use of hands and coordination for counting and verification
